How It Works
Your Integrative Medicine telehealth appointment will be scheduled in advance. Before your visit, you will be asked to complete telehealth consent and self pay acknowledgement forms..
These telehealth visits are conducted through the Petersburg Medical Center patient portal using Cerner, our electronic health record (EHR). You will receive instructions through the patient portal for connecting to your appointment.
At your scheduled appointment time, connect using the instructions provided.
Important Billing Information for International Telehealth Visits.
Integrative Medicine telehealth visits with a provider located outside the United States are self-pay services.
At this time, many insurance providers do not cover telehealth services when the healthcare provider is located outside the United States. Because of this, Petersburg Medical Center will not bill insurance for these Integrative Medicine telehealth visits and patients will be responsible for the cost of the visit.
