Lifestyle Balance Class
This year-long program is shown to decrease the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes and Heart Disease. Adults with pre-diabetes or at risk of developing pre-diabetes are eligible. The CDC-approved curriculum aims to reach a healthy balance between what we eat and how physically active we are. A trained lifestyle coach will help participants meet realistic weight loss and physical activity goals by making gradual, healthy, and reasonable changes to their eating and activity behaviors. Classes held weekly for first 12 weeks then transitioned to monthly. Annual class starts each February. For more information contact Julie at 772-5552 or [email protected]. |
